Martha Gwendolyn Ewing, 74, of Shawnee, Colorado went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on October 2, 2013. Martha was born in Kerrville, Texas on July 23, 1939 to Hugh and Irma Johnson. Martha graduated from St. Joseph College in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she received a degree in nursing.
Martha worked for more than 20 years as a surgical nurse at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary, and her parents, Hugh and Irma Johnson. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Susan Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Miriam and Duff Young of Dripping Springs, Texas; her daughter, Marjorie Murray of Marion, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Melissa Ewing of McKinney, Texas; and her grandchildren: Michelle Cleveland and husband Adam, Benjamin Young, Meagan Willberg and husband Michael, Robert Ewing, Arthur Murray, Meredith Ewing, Ryan Ewing, and Emma Murray.
