Martha Emily McDaniels received her wings on September 1, 2021. She was born on January 29, 1945, in Okeechobee, Florida to Ralph Tyson and Annie Carter. A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, she was a member of the Pentecostal church. She was an artist who enjoyed crafts, sewing, and collecting many different things.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 35 years, Ralph McDaniels; son, Curtis Hazellief; brothers, Edward Tyson, and Paul Tyson.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Hazellief, Clifford McDaniels, both of Okeechobee; daughters, Cindy Bentley, of Lake Placid, Kathy Johnson (Junior), of Georgia, Kristy Maxwell (Carl), of Bartow; a daughter by heart, Theresa Morrison, of Tennessee; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Tyson (Alice), Boots Tyson (Diane), both of Okeechobee; sisters, Anna “Jo” Robinson, of Okeechobee; and sister in law, Louise Tyson, of Okeechobee.
