Martha Elizabeth Terrazas, age 83, beloved wife, mother of three daughters, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 surrounded by the family she loved. Martha was known for her devotion to her family, love of music, and social grace. She had a deep appreciation of Native American art and pottery, and was a lifetime collector. Martha was born in New Mexico and raised on a farm with eleven siblings. In high school she met Bert Terrazas, the love of her life. Martha traveled widely, as Bert’s military career led to several relocations including postings at the Pentagon and Fort Lewis, WA, and included several trips abroad to Europe, Australia, Greece, Central America and Asia.
