Martha Jinkner Nash, 94, daughter of the late Charles A. and Violet Tinsley Jinkner died Sunday, December 2, 2018.  Her life was made joyful because of her family and friends, whom she loved beyond words.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James A. Nash; her daughter, Bonnie Jean Ross; and brother, Albert R. Jinkner.  Surviving is her son, the Rev. Mr. Charles James Nash and his wife Laurilla Luce Nash; grandsons, Dr. Clinton Nash and his wife, Lisa, Corbett Jason Nash and his wife, Sarah; great grandsons, Liam and Lochlan Nash; great granddaughters, Jordan and Daphne Nash; also nieces, Amy Jinkner-Lloyd and Jeannine Casey.  Prior to retirement, Martha worked as a teacher’s aide at Nicely Elementary School.  She also worked as a clerk for Hallmark.  She formerly was the Youth Choir Director for Christ Episcopal Church, Greensburg and was an alto soloist at various Greensburg and Pittsburgh churches.  As a child, Martha participated, with her parents and her brother, in a weekly radio show on WWSW featuring her father as a balladeer.  She had belonged to the William Gelston Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Westmoreland Choral Society, Tudor Madrigal Singers and was a volunteer at Westmoreland Regional Hospital.  Martha was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg where she sang in the church choir for over 70 years and served as a Sunday school teacher and in many other capacities.
