Marty was born on July 10, 1920 to Mabel and John McDonald in Indianapolis, IN. She was the fourth of five children. The family moved to Southern California when Marty was a young girl, and she resided there until 1956, when she moved to Idaho with her husband and children. The family resided first in Boise, then moved to Pocatello for several years. They moved back to Boise in 1972.
Marty was a loving mother and a faithful friend, and will be greatly missed. She loved music, and played the piano and organ. She loved to sew, and discovered quilting later in her life…something she wished she had learned earlier.
Marty is survived by her sons, Robert Reeder of Kent, WA and Eric Sisson of Chandler, AZ, and her daughters, Rebecca Barnes of Vallejo, CA and Dana Irish of Boise, ID. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Sisson, and her husband, Dale Sisson; her brother, Paul McDonald, and her sisters, Dorothy Lacey and Patricia Manning.
