Martha E. Sekema, age 86, of Monticello, IN, formerly of DeMotte, IN passed away April 14, 2017 in Monticello , Indiana.
Martha was born on October 10, 1930 in Jasper County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Lee and Mabel (Crawford) Myers. On July 1, 1945 Martha married the love of her life, Kenneth Sekema and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2004. Martha was a housewife and homemaker and a member of the American Reformed Church in DeMotte.
Martha is survived by her children: Ellen Kay Fugate of Michigan City, IN; Gail Lynn Gretencort of Monticello, IN; Marcy Ann (Jeff) LaCosse of Monticello, IN; a sister, Hazel (Louis) Crane of DeMotte; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Dr. Garry Sekema; 2 sisters: Ruby Koster and Lois Erwin; brother: Ralph Myers.
