Martha E. Jones Lachney 87 of Clinton passed away at 11:16pm on Jan 10, 2012 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born on July 31, 1924 in Clinton to David and Hazel Jones. Martha married Morgan J. Lachney on April 11, 1942. They lived and worked in Gary, IN where they raised their family. They retired to Clinton in 1978. They enjoyed fishing in Minnesota every summer and
traveling to Las Vegas and Michigan. Martha attended the Red Hat meetings and frequented several bingo places. After her husband’s death, her dog Max was her daily companion.
She is survived by a son Dr. Morgan E. Lachney and wife Joanne of Spring Lake, MI and a daughter Linda Sue Lachney Robinson and husband Danny of Clinton. Four grandchildren; Jennifer Lachney Jettner & Chad of Spring Lake, MI., Daniel Morgan Robinson & Jesse of Muskegon, MI., David John Robinson & Kristin of Clinton and Michael Lucas Lachney of Chicago, IL. Six great grandchildren; Connor, Noah & Kiya Jettner, Eli & Jude Robinson and Dominic Robinson.
