Martha (Woodrick) Bennett, 90 of Galien, Michigan died peacefully Friday, October 3, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Marilyn Weathers, in Galien.
Martha was born September 12, 1918 in Bridgman, Michigan to August and Eva (Spitzer) Krumrie. On May 5, 1937 she married Ewald (Woody) Woodrick. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1990.
She later married Paul Bennett who also preceded her in death. Martha was baptized and confirmed at The Immanuel Lutheran Church of Bridgman. She retired from Gerber Babywear in Three Oaks where she worked as a sewing machine operator. In her retirement, she enjoyed crocheting, baking, and caring for her home.
Martha is survived by her children, Diane (Dave) Riffel of Laporte, Indiana, Dick (Dove) Woodrick of Galien, Anita (Tom) Sinner of Baldwin, Michigan, and Marilyn Weathers of Galien. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren Martha was preceded in death by her grandson Richard (Dickie) Woodrick, great granddaughter Ashly Eva Mills, and three brothers and three sisters.
