Mrs. Martha Ann Riley was born in Springfield, Kentucky to Bennie and Carrie Ray on October 10, 1943. She attended and graduated from St.
Martha grew to young womanhood and was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Charles Riley. To this union one child was born.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St.
Martha was an employee of Kroger, serving as a baker. She loved cooking and was famous for her macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, and brown sugar pies. Martha also enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Carrie Ray; husband, Charles Riley; daughter, Alisha Carson; brothers, Julius Ray, Philip Ray and Jerome Ray; sisters, Nancy Linton, Dorothy Ford and Mary Murphy.
Martha Ann Riley was called to be with the Lord at the age of 78 on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Bruce (Liz) Ray; sister, Maxine (Andre) Stovall; granddaughters, Kolbi and Sydni Carson; grandson, William Carson, II; great-granddaughters, Chloe, Brooklyn and Aliya Carson; great-grandson, Amir Carson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
