Martha A. “Marty” Noftz, 84, of Clyde died at The Bellevue Hospital on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
Marty was born on February 7, 1930 in Unionville, Ohio to Ray C. and Margaret (Hedges) Dunfee, Sr. She attended Clyde High School.
For 23 years, Mrs. Noftz worked at the Whirlpool cafeteria, retiring in 1988. She had enjoyed her Bunco group; cooking, family, painting and yard work of any kind. She was the 1st, VFW Auxiliary President in Clyde.
On November 18, 1946, she married William Noftz. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2003.
Surviving are four daughters, Patricia (William) McClanahan; Rose Camden; Billie (C.Frederick) Martin, all of Clyde and Marsha (James) Fisher, Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Three brothers, Richard Dunfee, Clyde; Earl Dunfee, Bellevue and Claude Dunfee, Port Clinton also survive.
Mrs. Noftz was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Marie Wahls; Margie Ross; Leona Stout; Carol Ann Dunfee; Gelberta Smith; Kenneth Dunfee and Ray Dunfee, Jr.
