Marshall Harned, Jr.
Marshall Harned, Jr., of Albright died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Windy Hill Village.
He was born October 26, 1926, in Albright, a son of the late Marshall Orval and Hannah Graham Harned.
Born,raised and lived his life on the family farm in the Beech Run Community which was held for generations dating back pre-civil war period. He worked as a carpenter, building homes in the Kingwood area, then later retiring from the Preston County Board of Education as a maintenance man. Mr. Harned was a hardworking, self- sufficient, quiet speaking man and the last survivor of his immediate family.
He is survived by nieces and nephews and a longtime special friend, Betty Whetsell.
He was also preceded in death by his three sisters, Hazel Harned White Feathers, Clarice Harned Bishop and Burhl Harned Miller.
