Marshall Booth, Jr., 75, of French Creek, WV passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Clarksburg following an extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg the son of the late Marshall C. Booth and Hattie A. Cottrill Booth. He is survived by three children; Marsha McKay of Ramona, California, Phillip Booth of Seattle, Washington and Amanda Booth of Piedmont, South Carolina; five grandchildren; one brother; James R. Booth and wife Jean of French Creek two sisters; Jessie M. Lough of Fairmont and Barbara Lough and husband Harold of Fairview and several nieces and nephews. He served 16 years in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant during which he served both tours Vietnam and Korea. Mr. Booth worked as a cable installer and was a member of DAV of French Creek. He liked truck driving, loved woodworking, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest and was a loving brother, father and grandfather and he will be deeply missed.
