Marsha Louise Ochoa, faithful wife to Louis Ochoa Sr. and loving mother to “Little” Louie and Sherice Ochoa was called to heaven on February 7, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV.
Marsha was the firstborn child of John and Margaret Cruz. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1946 where she spent most of her childhood playing with her brother Johnny and cousins Linda and Gene Yee until the family was relocated to San Diego, California. That is where she met the love of her life “Big” Louie. Marsha and Louis were married in 1963 and shortly thereafter began their family. Her children Louis and Sherice were her pride and joy.
When her children became of school age, Marsha then pursued her college education, graduating from Coleman College, which then led to a long career in Human Resources and Payroll Management.
Marsha traveled to Laguna Beach this past August to attend the wedding of her son Louis and his new bride Diana. She was so excited when she found out last Fall that she was going to be a grandmother for the first time. She was thrilled at seeing the baby’s first sonogram.
Marsha was loved by everyone that knew her. She had a great sense of humor and was always looking for a laugh. Everyone that knew her also knew about her love of Elvis Presley. She collected Elvis memorabilia over the years and had it lovingly displayed in her home.
Marsha will be lovingly remembered by her husband Louis and children Louis (Diana) and Sherice (John P.). Marsha will also be forever in the hearts of brother John J. Cruz and sisters Valerie Walker, Angela Mock, Henrietta Conrey, Nellie Tucker (Gary), nephew Bub (Stephanie), nieces Marsha Diane (Don), Phyllis, Michelle (Andy), Tricia (Carlos), Elizabeth,; Godchildren Roman Moreno, Jeffrey Conrey, and Elizabeth King as well as her many cousins and all of her great nephews and nieces.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Cruz and brother-in-laws Roddie Lee Walker III and Bobby Islas.
