Marsha Ann Layton, 55 of Fairmont, formerly of Tunnelton, WV went home Sunday, August 02, 2015 at Fairmont General Hospital with family by her side. She was born July 16, 1960 in Kingwood, daughter of the late Walter “Nub” and Charlotte McMurdo Layton. Marsha graduated from Central Preston High School. She had worked at Preston Memorial Hospital and Heldreth Restaurant in Kingwood as a cook for many years. Where she was well known for her home cooking and pies. Marsha loved to crochet and kept all of her nieces and nephews warm with her beautiful afghans, slippers and hats. She is survived by two brother, George “Mike” Layton and wife Nancy, her twin brother, Mark “Duke” Layton and wife Lisa, two sister, Mary Howell and husband Tom, all of Tunnelton, Linda Molisee and husband, Butch, Warren, Michigan; Marsha was a beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she constantly spoiled. In addition to her parents,
Marsha was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bob” Layton.
