Those left to honor Marlow’s memory are his wife of 52 years, Judy; son, Alan (Shari) Good of Newton; daughter, Brenda (Mark) Beerntsen of Green Bay, Wisconsin; his ten grandchildren, Zach, Seth and Holly Good, Nathan, Evan, Brett, Blake, Brandon, Ben and Brianna Beerntsen; brother, Larry (Sandra) Good of Marshalltown, Iowa; and sister, Judi (Ray) Petersen of Victor, Montana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles G. and Jennieve (Patterson) Good; sister, Kay Schermerhorn; and four brothers, Max, Jerry, Donnie and Melvin Good.

Marlow co-owned and operated Marlow’s roofing and A&M Gutters, retiring in 2002.

Marlow was a craftsman, known for his woodworking talent. He won three Iowa State Fair awards for relief carvings. He had also built grandmother clocks; quilt racks, jewelry and treasure boxes for his family and friends.

Marlow’s hobbies included sketching scenic pictures and garage saling.
