Marlon “Mark” Brown, 33, of East Hartford, formerly of Manchester, loving husband of 11 years to Karlia (Wright) Brown died unexpectedly on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital &Med Ctr. Mark was born on January 31, 1984 in Jamaica, the beloved son of Barbara Leslie of East Hartford and the late Egbert Brown. He had been a resident of Manchester for 11 years before moving to East Hartford in 2014. Mark was the owner and operator of Hummingbird Catering in Manchester. His catering company was employed by the Manchester Housing Authority and Mark was also the Dietary Manager for Vernon Manor.
