Marlene Gay (Tesdal) Rossland, passed away peacefully on August 18th, 2011 from complications due to COPD. Marlene was born October 31st, 1937 to Edith and Ivar Tesdal in Williston, ND. She was a registered nurse who worked for over 30 years at Scottsdale Healthcare,both at the Osborn and Shea hospitals. After retirement Marlene also volunteered for several years at Hospice of the Valley.
Marlene is survived by her two children, Eric Rossland of Dallas, TX, Sara Thompson of Yucaipa, CA; two grandchildren, Fiona and Bruce Thompson; her sister Shirley Head of San Luis Obispo, CA; her brother Ron Tesdal of Olathe, KS; and a loving family including numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
