Marlene Pack Bodily

ROY – Marlene Pack Bodily passed away September 17, 2016 at her home in Roy, Utah.

She was born in Kamas, Utah August 8, 1932 to William Raymond Pack and Mercy Ethelin Lewis Pack.
She was raised in Kamas and attended schools in Kamas. She graduated from South Summit High School and attended Utah State University in Logan.

She moved to the Ogden Area in 1952 and started working at Hill Air Force Base, where she met her future husband, Orson Bodily. They were married May 27, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had three daughters: Terri Lyn, Sue Ann and Janis Kae.

She has lived in Ogden, Sunset, Clearfield and moved to Roy in 1970. She worked at the Kamas State Bank, Federal Reserve Bank in Salt Lake City, Westinghouse Electric, in Salt Lake the IRS in Ogden and Hill Air Force Base.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Sand ridge Ward and has worked in the Primary, Sunday School, Young Women’s and Relief Society Organizations.

She enjoyed her family, traveling and arts and crafts making many “Afghans” and beautiful wool latch hook rugs.

She is survived by her husband, Orson, and their children Terri (Deon) McFarland, West Weber; Sue Ann (Steve) Jones, West Jordan; and Janis (Kevin) McGill, Huntsville, twelve grandchildren and 15 A½ great-grandchildren, sister, Lawana Rhead of Plain City; sister-in-law, Donna Pack of Orem, and brother-in-law, Elwin Rees, Hoytsville, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Merrill Pack, and sister, Joyce Rees.
