Marlene, daughter to the late Donald Strehlke and Dorothy L. Godat Strehlke, was born August 25, 1957, in Spokane County, WA. She had a passion for animal rescue, raising quarter horses, gardening, but most of all, being a homemaker for her family. Marlene was a server a Cracker Barrel and enjoyed her coworkers and customers. Marlene had a very caring soul and always made those around her laugh and feel good. She was the greatest cook in the world.
Those left that cherish her memories are her husband of 38 years, Jeff Palmer of Laurel Hill, FL; daughter Brooke Palmer of El Paso, TX; son James Palmer of Laurel Hill; sister Patricia “Patsy” Strehlke of Phoenix, AZ; father-in law Richard Palmer (Kay) of Niceville; brother-in-law Richard (Ricky) Palmer and Brent Skuba of Long Beach, CA; brother-in-law Craig (Donna) Palmer of Virginia Beach, VA; other relatives, friends, and her beloved pets.
