Marlene passed away on October 30, 2021 in Denham Springs, LA. She was 85 years old.
Marlene was raised in Gloster, Mississippi and attended Southwest Mississippi Junior College before moving to Baton Rouge in the early 1960s where she worked for Louisiana National Bank.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Daryl Rushing and Pamela and Ken Lang of Watson; granddaughter, Danielle Rushing and fiancée, Jacob Behrends of Boerne, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Hollis Harrell of McComb, MS; and nephews, Paul and Gene Harrell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Virgie Longmire; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, buried at Mt.
