Marlene Elaine Stillwell passed away on March 6, 2022, at Palisades Assisted Living Care Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on June 18, 1932, in Beaver County, Oklahoma to Paul and Laraine Hoover.
Marlene was a longtime resident of Canon City until health issues required a move to Colorado Springs. Her 43 years in Canon City were spent providing health care at St. Thomas More Hospital, a local doctor’s office, and with Home Health Care.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Janice (Keith) Cook; son, Randy (Cheryl) Stillwell; daughter-in-law, Gina Gigot-Stillwell; as well as 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Laraine Hoover; brother, Paul Hoover; sisters, Donna Jean Jameson and her twin, Darlene Mathias; and son, Rodney Wayne Stillwell.
