Marlene D. Fiegel Kessler, 83, of Moberly, died April 14, 2017 at her home. She was born April 3, 1934 in Wayne, Michigan to Lloyd and Alvina (Boelter) LaFave.
Marlene married Ertman Kessler on April 20, 2007 in Moberly, MO and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her children; Carl Fiegel and wife Jean of Huntsville, MO and Terri Fiegel of Moberly, grandchildren; George Fiegel and Alexis Rodriguez of Odem, TX, Alex Fiegel of Reno, NV and Sara Fiegel of Corpus Christi, TX, two great-grandchildren, Kayleen and William Fiegel, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
“Gi Gi” will be remembered for her great cooking, especially her buttermilk pies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Lawrence, Lloyd, Jr. and Lynwood LaFave and a sister, Margaret Deason.
