Marlene Andersen Hamilton, 54, returned to her Father in Heaven on December 28, 2021 at 1:50 PM due to septic shock. Marlene was born on April 30, 1967 to Lee and Carol Andersen.

Marlene grew up with a large loving family in Sunset, Utah and graduated Clearfield High School in 1985. After high school Marlene graduated from Hand of Champions Beauty College where she excelled in the art of making people beautiful. She married Michael Hamilton in December of 1988. They lived in Germany, San Antonio, Texas and then back to Utah. In 1993 her son Tyler Michael Hamilton was born. He would be her only child whom she loved very much.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Marlene learned from her parent’s hard work and generosity. Marlene loved to serve others and would always put others before herself. She worked long hours managing the food services at Autoliv and at Kimberly Clark. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting, and making cakes for friends and family members for their special occasions. She was so talented in many ways. Marlene’s infectious laugh filled the room and was loved by everyone who knew her.

Our sweet, kind, selfless mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor will be greatly missed.

Marlene is survived by her parents; Lee and Carol, her son; Tyler, her brothers; Steve and Brian (Rachel) Andersen, and her sisters; Cheri (Dave) Scott, Denise (Dyke) Roskelley, Cara Lynn (Jarod) Yeager, Emily (Nate) Bird, and Kristin (Telly) Longhurst.

She is preceded in death by her baby brother Kendall.
