Marlan A. Corey Age 75 of Corunna passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Graveside Service will be held 1pm Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor LuWanda Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Tuesday November 7 from 2pm to 6pm.Marlan was born December 9, 1941 in Owosso; the son of Arthur and Saima (Kallio) Corey. He graduated from Owosso High School, Class of 1960.Marlan retired from Georgia Pacific after 41 years of service. He enjoyed dancing and shared his love for dancing with his friend Katherine Zabor. He was an avid and very loyal Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Superman and Elvis fan, always showing his support by wearing his team colors or his favorite Elvis shirt and Superman pants. Marlan always found time to travel around the United States and always loved taking a nice drive; the longer the better. Marlan is survived by his sister Marian (Richard) Hansen and brother Tom (Susan) Corey; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
