It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marla “Jodie” Spitznogle, age 86. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great friend to many.
She was born on April 8th, 1936 and passed away on August 22nd, 2022 in Nampa, Idaho with her family by her side.
Marla moved to Idaho in 1938 from Oklahoma. She graduated from Kuna High school in 1954 and married Kenneth Spitznogle the following year. They had 3 children: Steven Spitznogle, Vicki Bellone, and Kevin Spitznogle.
She spent most of her years working as a medical office manager for multiple physicians in Nampa. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards with her close friends, camping, gardening, and she lived life for her kids and grandkids.
“She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children/grandchildren. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes and that’s all that ever matter to her”.
Besides her children she is survived by 4 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Spitznogle, both her parents, Judson and Mae Belle Sanderson, and her grandson Judson Winters.
