Mark was the best brother and uncle anyone could have ever wanted. He was the middle of 5 children. He spent his early years with his family at Zion Hill Baptist Church in McNeill. Mark never married instead he devoted his life to caring for his Mother. Mark drove a school bus for PRC his senior year. Once graduating from PRC he went to work for Gibson’s Dept Store. When they closed he started working for Sunflower Grocery Store until his retirement in 2014. Once his mom passed in May 2015 he moved in with his older brother Bill and his wife Pam for over 4 years. Mark got sick in Sept 2019 he moved in with his sister Annette Nicolay in Slidell. He was preceded in death by his father Wallace C Dossett, mother Tommie Jean Lee Dossett, grandparents Wes and Ophelia Lee, William and Mary Alice Dossett,3 infant brothers, his brother in law’s Dewey Eaves and Jack Nicolay. He is survived by his sister Annette Nicolay, Bill (Pam) Dossett, Tony (Tammy) Dossett and John (Angela) Dossett, Aunt Grace Goode, Nephews; Tommy,Jesse (Carol Leigh), Lane (Kandy), Clint (Kim) and nieces Heather (Eddie) Purvis, Hannah and Kailey Dossett. Numerous great nieces and nephews. It was Mark’s wish to be cremated and his ashes spread in the Tennessee mountains by family.
