Mark W. King, 60, of Columbia City, passed away on July 29, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 16, 1962, in Columbia City, to the late Edger and Grace (Long) King. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1980.
Mark was married to Brenda Britz in Columbia City, on July 18, 1998.
Mark has worked for Jeld-Wen in Ligonier for the last 39 years. He also enjoyed farming.
Mark was a member of Sugar Grove Church of God and Collins United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Indiana Tractor Pullers Association and served on the Board of Directors. In addition to Tractor Pulling and farming, he enjoyed old cars. He especially loved his family. He will be remembered as a man with “A Heart of Gold.”
Mark is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda King; his son, Jonathon Martin; a daughter, Kimberly (Alex) Stevenson; three brothers, Larry (Connie) King, Robert (Arlene) King, and Kevin (Angela) King; two grandchildren, Arianna and Adeline Jo.
