Mark Smith, 56, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Mark was born on January 10, 1965, in Flint, Michigan, to Ronald Smith and Louise McIntyre. Mark was an excellent, advanced math teacher for more than 30 years in Jupiter and Port St. Lucie, Florida.

He inspired so many students with his love of Calculus and worked diligently to set them up for success in their higher education. The most memorable parts of his classes were his creativity in interactive projects and his alter-ego, Sir Math-a-lot.

In his free time, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on camping trips, backyard BBQs, watching Gator football, deer hunting, and fishing. Mark was always the life of the party and was willing to do anything to make someone laugh.

He could be found floating around every party, making conversation with anyone who would listen, controlling the music selection, and being a ringleader for party games.

Mark is survived by his fiancée Bethellen Keefe; two daughters, Alex Kelley (Devin Kelley) and Brianna Green (Dillon Green); parents, Ronald Smith (Karen Smith) and Louise McIntyre (Dan McIntyre); siblings, Matt Wirwicki (Heather Wirwicki), Paula Smith; his nephews, Dylan and Dan; surviving family members, and an endless list of friends.
