On December 4, 1950, Mark Robert Williams was born to Patricia and Charles Williams in Laurens, South Carolina.  He was the first born of 4 children.

Mark and his parents moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and then to Greenville, South Carolina where he attended Wade Hampton High School.

He met Ann Ward the summer of 1970, and they fell in love.  June 1971 they were married and started their life together.

In 1973, Mark graduated from Clemson University with an Electrical Engineering degree.  Their next move was to Melbourne, Florida where Mark worked for Harris Corporation. Here their two beautiful girls were born, Natalie and Jennifer, who were the loves of their lives.

In 1978, Mark accepted a position with TRW and moved the family to Long Beach, California.  This was wonderful as his parents, brother, and sister had moved to Southern California earlier.

Motorola bought TRW, the family then moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1993. Mark’s sister and his two nephews moved with them.  Mark was so happy that to have the family together.  This is where WEB Ranch began. A place for all the family and friends or anyone who need to stay for a day, a week, or months.

In Phoenix, Mark was introduced to horseback riding and found he loved the horses! They quickly became a focus and joy. In 2001 Mark and Connie purchased a mountain home. He loved bringing the horses there and riding in the National Forest.

He had always liked the game of baseball.  When given the chance to get season tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks he was all in.  This love was something he shared with Ryan, Jennifer, and Ann.

Mark loved having the family over for Sunday dinner, holidays, any day.  He loved to cook for them and enjoyed the conversations.

After 21 years in the Arizona sun and heat Ann and Mark decided that they wanted to retire somewhere with 4 (or more) seasons. Mark loved his horses, working outdoors, playing with his HAM radio. Colorado with a few acres seemed perfect.  In 2014, they both retired and moved to Parker, Colorado on 5 acres and built a little farm with horses, chickens, and dogs.  Mark loved the mountain views, being outside and sharing his horses with anyone who wanted to ride with him.

Mark was a gentle, kind, spiritual person.

Mark had many hobbies… horses, gardening, Ham radio, reading, learning, cooking. He did them all well. (For those of you that are now worried about how the family will eat, Ann does know how to cook!) He also enjoyed watching sports on TV baseball (Red Sox mostly or any team that was on), football (Clemson GO Tigers!) and recently hockey (Go Avalanche!).

Mark left us to go to his heavenly home on July 5,2022.  He left us all too soon but left us with wonderful, happy memories, much love for each other and a great model of a faithful servant.

Mark leaves behind his wife Ann of 51 years, his daughters Natalie, and Jennifer and her husband Ryan Ernsberger, grandson Andrew, two granddaughters Morgan and Sarah, his brother Eric and (wife) Jan Williams, his sister Connie and(husband) Nathan Wallace, his nephew Josh and (wife) Melody Bors, his nephew Brian and (wife) Stephanie Bors, three great- nephews, and one great- niece.  Mark was a big part of all their lives, and they were a big part of his.

Mark was preceded by his brother Glenn, and his parents Pat and Charles.

RIP Mark and Happy Trails until we met again.
