Mark Robert Carlson, 55, passed away Monday March 18, 2013 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Richmond. Mark was born August 17, 1957 in Franklin to Robert F. and Barbara (Bowman) Carlson.
He graduated from Whiteland Community High School, class of 1975 and received an Associate’s degree in computers from Ivy Tech Community College. He married Kathy Madden on May 28, 2002 in New Whiteland.
Mark enjoyed all sports, collecting comic books and was a history buff. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Richmond. Mark loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Carlson of Richmond, mother, Barbara Carlson of New Whiteland, seven children, Micah Madden, Mariah Madden, Cody Madden, Jericho Madden, and Rikki (Mike Turley) Madden all of Richmond, Matthew Madden of Wisconsin and Leah Madden of Utah, a brother, Steve (Brenda) Carlson of Shelbyville, four grandchildren, J.J. and Colton Henry, Donald Carlin and Lyrik Turley, a niece Stephanie Carlson and three nephews, Shane Carlson, B.J. Collins and Brandon Collins.
He was preceded death by his father, Robert F. Carlson.
