Mr. Johnson was born in Brockton, a son of Herbert A. and Jean A. (Wilkie) Johnson of Plymouth. He was a 1973 graduate of Taconic High School in Pittsfield and a U. S. Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War. He had lived in Plymouth for many years and then in Atlanta, GA before coming to Upton about ten years ago.
In addition to his parents and his wife of 33 years, he leaves four daughters, Kerri Johnson of Waterford, NY, and Holly, Katie, and Jillian Johnson, all of Upton; two brothers, Herbert “Skip” Johnson of Naples, FL and Paul Johnson of Plymouth; and a sister, Betty Munschy of Londonderry, NH.
