Mark Douglas House, 64 of Clarksburg passed away from a long illness on Saturday October 15, 2022 at his residence with family. He was born December 07, 1957 in Clarksburg, son of the late Seward Lee House and late Julia Ann House.

He graduated from Washington Irving High School, Class of 1976. He worked as a house painter and in traffic control for several years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and WVU fan. Also known for taking down a two-hundred-pound black bear with a bow in 1981. Mark wants to thank all his family and friends for the many years of happiness that they have brought him. Mark was an avid WVU fan.

In addition to Mark’s parents, he is preceded in death by his older brother, Steven Lee House and father in-law, Leslie Dale Cunningham.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann House; daughter, Alicia Kaye Mick and husband Clay, Weston; brother, Scott Allen House and wife Dawn, Bellingham, MA; mother-in-law, Mary Elladean Cunningham, Deltona, FL, and sister-in-law, Daleen Elizabeth Tosso and husband Victor; Deltona, FL; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
