He is survived by his children, Emily Cohen of Buford, GA and Jacob Cohen of Buford, GA; the children’s mother, Jan Garner Cohen of Buford, GA; parents, Otto and Ellene Cohen of Norcross, GA; brothers, William “Billy” Cohen (Donna) of Loganville, GA, Alan Cohen of Norcross, GA; niece, Caitlin Burton (Zeb) of Monroe, GA; nephew, Andrew Cohen.
Mr. Cohen was born on May 9, 1967 in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville, GA, in 1986.
He owned a small transportation company for more than 20 years. Mr. Cohen was a member of North Gwinnett Baptist Church where he once served on the Deacon board. He was a Boy Scout troop leader, loved the outdoors, animals, panning for gold and spending time at his cabin in North Georgia.
