Mark Alan “Skip” Haas, 80, of Greensboro, Georgia passed away peacefully early on the morning of August 25, 2018. He was surrounded and comforted by his family. Skip was born May 28, 1938 in Dallas, Texas and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1944. He graduated from Grady High School in 1956 and subsequently served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. He married the love of his life, Rita (Taylor) in 1961, and worked as a salesman while raising two sons with his wife. Skip had a true love for life and friends.
Skip is survived by his wife, Rita, of 57 years; sons, Keith (Sarah) and Tony; grandchildren, Jackson, Jonathan, Reilly, and William; in-laws, Fran and Jeff Young, and Nancy Haas; nephews, Don and Jeffrey Mitchell; and nieces, Erin and Jennifer Haas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Jimmie Haas; and brother, Richard Haas.
