Mark A. Watkins passed away on August 29, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah after a short illness. Mark was born in St. Albans, West Virginia but moved with his family to Statesboro when he was 8 years old.
He received his formal education in Bulloch County at Southeast Bulloch High School. From his informal education he learned how to become one of the best roofers/carpenters around.
Mark enjoyed being outdoors. Fishing was a favorite pastime and Nascar racing was his sport.
Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Kay Peth Watkins and his parents, Clyde E. Watkins and Janet F. Watkins.
He is survived by his two brothers, Ricky E. Watkins (Joy) and Ronald L. Watkins (Lisa); his sister, Dreama S.
