Mark A. Helmick, age 52, of Canfield, died at 3:25 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at the Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem. He was born September 10, 1963 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Elden and Virginia (Hiner) Helmick.
He worked at Chizmar Painting Company and was a 1982 graduate of South Range High School. Mark was a member of the Greenford Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, horseshoes, outdoor sports, and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Tracy (Mark) Higgins of Canfield; two brothers, Brent (Evelyn) Helmick of San Diego, California, and Chad (Sarah) Helmick of Boardman; and several nieces and nephews.
