Mark A. Granger, 47, of Plainville, passed away Sunday, August 5th, 2007, at Bristol Hospital after a brief illness. Mark was born September 9, 1959 in Hartford, a beloved son of Nelson and Jeannette (Caron) Granger.

Mark was a 1977 graduate of Avon Old Farms School. He went on to attend the University of  Connecticut at Storrs. Mark was loving, loyal and dedicated to his family and friends (too numerous to list). Mark was a friend to everyone he met, and was always quick with his sharp wit and contagious sense of humor. To know Mark was to love him. He will be missed by his family and his many friends.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Matthew Granger and his wife Angela of Maui, Hawaii, Gregory Granger and his wife Teresa of Plainville, one sister, Cheryl Dumond and her husband Michael of Harwinton.

Mark was a loving uncle to his nephews and niece; Lee Dumond, US Army of Fort Lewis, Washington State; Brian Dumond of Harwinton, John Granger of Honolulu, Hawaii; Kristen Granger, 1st LT, USAF, of Navarro, FL, and Phillip Granger of Plainville.
