Mark Alan Auman, 58, of Terre Haute picked up his guitar and left his home on Sunday September 4, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. to join his Father and brother in a better place.
Mark was born October 14, 1952 in Terre Haute to Donald E. Auman and Jessie Fields Auman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Auman and younger brother, Keith Edward Auman.
Mark is survived by his mother, Jessie Fields Auman; a sister, Christine Travioli and her husband, Dean; and his brother, David Auman, who was beside him every day of his battle helping him in every way possible to make him more comfortable. He is also survived by nieces, Lynn Pruitt and her husband, Mike; Amy Horsely and her husband, Mark; Arin Cheeseman and her husband, David all of Terre Haute; Amber Lore of Shelbyville, Indiana. He is survived by several nephews, Stephen D. Travioli and his companion, Robin Major of Port Richey, Florida and Alan K. Auman and his companion, Jennifer Marshall of Terre Haute; great nieces and nephews, Shelby and Madison Schaffer, Levi, Austin and Taylor Horsely, David and Camryn Cheeseman, and Owen and Ethan Auman all of Terre Haute. The family especially wants to thank Cindy Driscoll, long time friend and recent companion, who has been beside Mark these past few months offering love and encouragement daily. She has been a God send. Also, Rita, his neighbor and good friend, as well as Jerry and Johnny Ofsansky, very special neighbors and all of Mark’s good and dear friends, too numerous to mention.
