Marjory A. VanFleet, 90, of Bellevue, died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Orchard Grove Assisted Living in Bellevue.
She was born October 22, 1924 in Bellevue to the late Thurlow and Bessie (Schutt) Heter.
Marjory was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue. She enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, and bingo. She graduated from Bellevue High School and worked in the office at The Whirlpool Corp until her retirement.
On November 26, 1942 she married Vernon VanFleet. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2002.
Marjory is survived by her children: Robert (Lynette) VanFleet of Clyde and Robbie (Stanley) McPeek of Bellevue; grandchildren: Monica (Dave) Kohler, Meredith (Ken) Price, Justin (Katie) VanFleet, and S. Daniel (Kelly) McPeek; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dolores Frost of Bellevue.
