Marjorie Stanley Spurlin, age 91, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away on December 29th, 2021.
Marjorie was born in Opp, Alabama on June 19, 1930 to parents John Porter and Alma Jewel Stanley. She had a large family of 7 brothers and sisters. Marjorie was married to John Wesley Spurlin on March 12, 1950 for 67 years.
She is survived by her daughters Beverly (Mark) Beard and Beth Jasso; her sister Joyce Snell; her two brothers Von Stanley and Henton Stanley; her two granddaughters Jenna (John) McElroy and Joni (James) Gilman; her grandson Jason (Amanda) Beard; and her eight grandchildren Rylan, Ella, Brantley, Charlotte, Colton, Jay, Jonah and Juliet.
Marjorie is predeceased by, most recently, her son-in-law Tony Jasso; her husband; her sisters Nona Faye Lucas, Quida Smith, Ima Jean Boggs, Flora Broom; and her parents.
Marjorie was a Christian and had a strong belief in God. She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beautician in her early years and a talented florist. Marjorie and John were members of Victory Church in Lakeland, Florida. They lived in many locations during their marriage including Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia, Germany, New York, Florida and Georgia.
