Marjorie Roberta Knotts, 93, of Alexandria, passed away April 6, 2016 at the Alexandria Care Center.
She was born on April 20, 1922 in Muncie, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Marjorie graduated from Anderson High School and also attend Anderson College. She retired in 1980 after 28 years of service from Delco Remy in Anderson where she worked in production.
She was a member of Church of the Brethren, and also she taught Sunday School at the church for 65 years and at the First Church of the Nazarene in Arizona.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Diana (Larry) Troxel of Anderson; step-daughter, Loretta (Rick) Powless of Anderson; step-son, David (Linda) Knotts of FL; step-daughter, Karen (Dan) Hayden of FL; 5 Grandchildren, Troy Jones, Chris Troxel, Julie Davis, Keith Troxel, and Brian Jones; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Addison Lilly Troxel, Kenzie Davis, Kylie Davis, and Harley Jones; 10 Step-Grandchildren; Special Friends, Heddy Smith, Wesley Smith, Kenny Smith, and Carol (Joe) Riley; Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, Clarence Ash, mother, Grace Ash, 1st Husband, Robert L Jones, Sr., 2nd Husband, William Knotts, son, Robert L. Jones, Jr., 11 Brothers & Sisters, step-son, Michael Knotts.
