Mrs. Marjorie Miller Quereto Spencer, age 77, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Sister Spencer was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 24, 1944 to the late Shirlee Ephraim Miller and Myrtle Hewitt Miller. Marjorie grew up and spent most of her life in Southern California, moving to Kentucky the last 3 years of her life.
Marjorie was a career educator.  She earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She enjoyed helping people through education, serving as a teacher and an administrator at the elementary, middle, high school, and university levels. She earned professional recognition and accolades for her work, helping her schools achieve state and national awards including the titles of a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Marjorie was a committed member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She loved and embraced opportunities to serve through church and felt blessed by these associations.
Marjorie’s greatest joy was her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Spencer and brothers, Frank Miller and Jim Miller. 

She also leaves three children: John Quereto (Corey), Caroline “Carrie” Ramirez (Ron) and Ann “Annie” Hooper (Brian); 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
