Marjorie Penrod, 95, passed away, Friday, July 26, 2013 at Albany Health Care and Rehabilitation in Albany.
Marjorie was born in Eaton on August 31, 1917 to John “Ray” and Vashti Carmichael. She graduated from Eaton High School and married Stephen Penrod. Together they had two children, Edward and Robert.
Marjorie served as the Eaton Town Clerk from 1976 to 1979 and worked for the Democrat Party at elections. She was twice awarded by the Governor of Indiana for the many hours she spent volunteering.
