Marjorie Parker was born May 10, 1930 in Maxdale, TX to Ellis and Bird Herrington. Marjorie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western New Mexico University in Silver City and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas in Austin. She taught English at Cobre High School in Bayard, NM for 30 years.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her sister, Patt Williams of San Antonio, TX. Survivors include her husband of sixty-seven years, Milford (Dub) Parker, two daughters, Sheryl Lumpee of Pueblo West, CO and Marla Casey of Alto, NM; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
