Marjorie Geortler (Burgess) passed away February 19th at Cooper Hospital with her family by her side. Born on April 17th 1924 to Margaret and Joseph Burgess. Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth of 50 years. Marjorie and Kenneth owned Halo House Kennels and raised German Shepard dogs.
She was a commercial artist and one of the first women draftsmen in the area. She loved to bake, shop and was an avid reader. Margie has three sisters Nancy Fretwell ( deceased) Joan (Charles) Geiter, Barbara ( Robert ) Winters. She raised two daughters Michael (Miki) husband George (Barney) Schultz, Kathryn Stark(deceased) .Eight grandchildren, James Webb, Stephanie (John) Aubrey, Victoria Webb, Elizabeth (Guido) Forcellini, Kenneth Webb, George III ( Diane) Schultz, Kathryn Stark, Michael (Abby) Schultz. Margie also had 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a magnificent sister –mother– grandmother– great-grandmother and loved by all!
