Those left to honor Marjorie’s memory are her 2 sons, James (and Marta) Maxwell and Gerald (and Mary) Maxwell, both of Collins, Iowa; 5 grandchildren, Eric (and Cheryl) Maxwell, Denise (and Gary) Walker, Richard (and Meredith) Maxwell, Lyle (and Stacey) Maxwell, and Chad (and Joann) Max; her 8 great-grandchildren, Brittney and Ashley, Zach and Logan, Sara and Cody, and Chantel and Douglas; 2 brothers, Kenneth Faidley of Austin, Texas and Ramon (and Phyllis) Faidley of Colfax, Iowa; her sister, Marvel (and Bob) Baxter of Boise, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford Leroy “Roy” and Edith (Longren) Faidley; husband, Leon in 1989; and her 4 brothers, Darrell, Lloyd, Myron, and Loren Faidley.
Marjorie graduated from Colfax High School in 1940 and attended Simpson College to receive her teaching certificate.
She was a member of Ashton Chapel where she taught preschool Sunday School for 60 years and Vacation Bible Schoool each summer.
