Marjorie “Marge” Fuertinger, 84, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born in New Rochelle, NY on March 27, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Rocco D’Alessandro and Marjorie Muir D’Alessandro.
Marge loved being outside in her garden. She had an adventurous side, always willing to try anything once. Her laughter was infectious. For many years, she delivered for Rowan County Meals on Wheels. She was blessed to have a multitude of wonderful friends and neighbors that she considered family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, George D’Alessandro.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Robert Fuertinger; her daughter, Debra Potvin (Jay); beloved granddaughter, Gabrielle (Tryston), all of China Grove; Robert Fuertinger (Christine) of Breckenridge, CO and several nieces and nephews.
