Marjorie was united in marriage to Malcolm Turner on May 15, 1942 in Carthersville, MO. She moved to Del Norte, CO with her husband, Malcolm, her mother-in-law, and two young children in 1948, where she resided until 1968, by which time she had four more children. The family then moved to Salida, where they lived until 1978, when Marjorie and Malcolm moved to Canon City, CO.
