She died at 4:26 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, in WoodBridge Health Campus.

Born July 24, 1914, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Daniel R. and Daisy F. Meredith Carr.

Marge was well-known in the Logansport area as an organist and pianist. She played with the Dick Mordenti Band and also entertained at the Ambers, Elks, Pajama Lounge and the Madam Carroll, as well as other places. In earlier years she entertained in Clearwater Beach, Fla. She also enjoyed listening to Cubs games.

Surviving are sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Sam Goodale, Washington, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Patricia and Jerry Sandover, Cathy and Robert Greenburg, Mark Reitemeier, Nancy and Earl Vines, and Samuel and Susan Goodale; brother-in-law, James Corkey, Michigan; special cousin, Eileen Hizer, along with several other cousins; and friends, Margaret Ann “Toots” and Jack Harvey, and Rev. Milford and Ruth Smith.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Reitemeier and Dorothy Corkey.
