Marjorie Virginia Loyd, 92 of Walnut Hill, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at her home.

Marjorie was born May 4, 1922 in Centralia, daughter of John W. Orrill and Ethel M. (Miller) Orrill. She married Noal G. Loyd on July 27, 1940 and he survives in Walnut Hill.

In addition to her husband of 73 years, she is also survived by two sons, Lowell G. “Butch” Loyd and wife Susan of Round Rock, TX and C.T. Loyd and wife Kaye of Fort Worth, TX; a daughter, Janet Greear and husband David of Centralia; eight grandchildren: Eric Greear and special companion Kristi Blackman of Centralia, Paul Loyd of Round Rock, TX, Eve Peak and husband Johnny of Round Rock, TX, Stephen Loyd of Fort Worth, TX, Joshua Loyd of Fort Worth, TX, Jed Loyd and wife Lana of Virginia, David Loyd and John Loyd both of Fort Worth, TX; three great-grandsons: Josh Greear, Brady Greear and Cade Greear all of Centralia; a great-great-granddaughter: Elysiah Greear of Centralia; a sister: Norma Prosise of Walnut Hill and a sister-in-law, Lynn Loyd of Palm Bay, FL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law: William and Effie Loyd, three brothers: Pete Orrill, Wesley Orrill and Dean Orrill, a sister: Jesse Peoples, and a grandson: Jeffrey Greear.

Marjorie was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed gardening, canning and flowers. Most of all she loved spending time and cooking for family and friends.
